Recently, mixed media, landscape paintings have been showing up along with my better known figurative sculptures. But the Maine landscape has always been inspirational one way or another ever since I moved, as a back-to-the-lander, from NYC where my formal art training began. “Seacoast Can Company”


Sometimes I incorporate found objects into my sculptures. And when that is a castaway metal piece, there is angst expressing, I think, my own love/hate relationships to most human inventions. “Flying On A Wing & Pray”, acrylic on ceramic, sitting atop a discarded lawn mower, is a perfect example.
